Return to Throwing

The Apex Return to Throwing program focuses on getting pitchers and position players back on the field quickly and safely.

Having played baseball ourselves, both owners are passionate about the Apex Return to Throwing program. Not only do we love the game, we understand what is physically required to play it. This knowledge allows us to break down various baseball skills into their simplest parts from which we can develop an individualized rehabilitation program.

Our throwing program includes focused stretching, strengthening, dynamic stabilization training of the rotator cuff and scapula, plyometric training, power work and initiation of an interval-throwing program.

Through our work with the San Francisco Giants, we have treated some of the most recognizable and successful professional athletes in all of Major League Baseball. So whether you are a pitcher, position player, attempting conservative care, or have had surgery, Apex has a proven record of getting ballplayers back on the field.

The extent of injury, whether this is an acute or chronic condition, the presence of additional health problems and patient motivation will all factor into the likelihood of you making a full recovery. Although every patient is different, The Apex Team is dedicated to helping you achieve your personal best. We look forward to working with you!
