Dave Matoso, PT, OCS, Owner San Mateo Clinic
Dave Matoso was born and raised on the San Francisco Peninsula. After receiving a degree in Physical Therapy, he went on to distinguish himself as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Dave has spent his career in orthopedic physical therapy and sports medicine, specializing in the treatment of post-operative knee and shoulder injuries. He has a special passion for rehabilitation after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and rehab of the throwing shoulder/elbow.
Of the twenty years Dave has been practicing physical therapy, fifteen have been spent on the San Francisco Peninsula. He has worked with athletes of all levels, from the recreational to the professional level. Dave is well established and well respected within the Peninsula Orthopedic Community. He has strong relationships with local physicians and treated thousands of patients up and down the Peninsula.
Dave has been married for 20 years and has two wonderful children. His hobbies continue to include teaching, which he now puts to best use coaching youth sports. In his free time, and despite his frustrations, Dave continues to play golf.
Dave has long had strong ideas and beliefs on how physical therapy services should be performed and provided to patients. Apex is a reflection of Dave’s commitment to physical therapy and quality patient care.
