Michael Chin, a bay area native, received his B.S. in Exercise Biology from University of California, Davis in 2008. While at Davis, Michael competed and was team captain of the UC Davis Division 1 Men’s Tennis team. When not on the court, Michael worked with the collegiate athletic training staff serving all D-1 sports and athletes. Michael has continued to stay in the athletic arena, training athletes of all levels after obtaining his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential and CrossFit level 1 certification.
Michael earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from New York University in 2012. While in New York, Michael worked with a diverse patient population in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Michael has a special interest in sports injury prevention and has reached out to youth athletes via seminars and an ACL/knee injury prevention program.
Michael strongly believes in providing compassionate care that is focused around restoring movement and function, and tailored toward patient goals. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, hockey, snowboarding, CrossFitting, and being outdoors.
