Meggie, a Bay Area native, received her B.A. in Spanish at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2011 with a minor in Exercise and Health Science. It was during this time that she developed her interest in the field of physical therapy.
She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2017, where she took elective courses in advanced orthopedics, sports, and dance injuries. She completed clinical internships in both New York and California, treating patients in a variety of treatment settings. Prior to joining Apex, Meggie worked in a Southern California orthopedic clinic, treating patients and athletes of all ages with a variety of orthopedic conditions. As a former high school and college athlete, she especially enjoys helping young athletes return to the playing field.
In her free time she enjoys hiking, Pilates, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
