Mike is a Bay Area native, having attended both undergraduate and graduate school in San Francisco. He has a BS degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of San Francisco and completed his doctoral degree in physical therapy at UCSF/SFSU in 2007.
Over the past 5 years, Mike has completed a year-long course in Australian based manual therapy at Kaiser Redwood City, achieved his board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS), and is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Mike remains committed to giving back to the field of physical therapy. He is a volunteer clinical faculty member at the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy and assists in both lecture and lab portions of the curriculum.
When he’s not treating patients, Mike enjoys staying active and keeping fit. He enjoys golfing as well as all of the outdoor activities the Bay Area has to offer.
